It’s finally December and I couldn’t be more excited! I’ve planned a whole host of events to take us right up to the big day. Here’s a quick run down for those of you planning on popping down to the shop for an evening of crafting.
Can’t Make it to the Shop?
First of all, I know that for some of you the evening classes are tricky, I promise that in Summer we will be offering some day time workshops, but until then I’ve put together some embroidery and knitting kits for you to practice with at home. Bauble, embroidery, scarf and hat kits will be listed on the website today!
Wreath Making Workshop with Webb & Farrer - 5th December
This Wednesday the lovely Alice will be coming to the shop for the evening and bringing lots of wintry foliage with her. She will walk you step by step through binding moss and spruce onto your wreath and decorating with dried orange, cotton, berries and tying the most beautiful big bow you’ve ever seen. You can book tickets here!
Knitting Workshop - 6th December
Come along for the final instalment of our knitting workshops for the year. There’ll be either a scarf or pom pom hat pattern to follow, or if you’re a more confident knitter then feel free to bring along some work of your own. If you buy a kit through the shop then your session is free, otherwise there’s a suggested donation of £5. Book your space here.
Embroidery Workshop - 13th December
Our final embroidery workshop of the year will have a very pretty wintry theme, learning all of the usual stitches but creating a stunning snowflake design. As always embroidery kits including floss, hoops, needle and scissors will be yours to take home to carry on creating. Book your space here.
Christmas Bauble Workshop - 19th December
The last workshop of the year! Some of you may have noticed our gorgeous knitted baubles adorning the shop, this is your chance to learn how to make one. For £10 you can buy yourself a bauble kit and come along to learn exactly how it’s put together. There’ll be mince pies and prosecco too! Book your space here.
